Purchase Terms

These terms apply when you buy a Steel Copilot paid plan from AITECH HOUSES PTE LTD ("we", "us") and form part of the Terms of Service. Payments made through PayPal are collected on our behalf by our affiliate, Hainan Aiwu Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (see section 3). Please read them before you buy, especially the parts in bold.

1. Plans and counting

  1. Each plan's price, takeoffs per period, page limit per job, concurrent jobs and retention period are as shown on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars.
  2. Usage is counted in takeoffs. A job up to a certain number of pages counts as one takeoff; larger jobs count more, as shown on the pricing page (currently: up to 20 pages counts as 1; each further full 20 pages adds 1; a remainder of 5 pages or fewer is not counted).
  3. Takeoffs are deducted by page count when a job starts. Plan takeoffs are used first; bonus takeoffs are used only after the plan's takeoffs run out.
  4. Takeoffs and bonus takeoffs can only be used in your own account. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for cash.

2. Validity, renewals and upgrades

  1. A plan starts on the day it is activated and runs in 30-day periods. Takeoffs refill at the start of each period; unused takeoffs do not carry over. A yearly purchase is 12 periods and is priced as 10 months.
  2. Renewing the same plan extends the expiry date from the current expiry. If this period's takeoffs are used up, renewal immediately starts a new period with full takeoffs.
  3. Upgrading starts the new plan on the day it is activated; the remaining time on the current plan is converted into days on the new plan in proportion to the two plans' prices.
  4. Downgrading takes effect after the current plan expires.

3. How to pay

You can pay through PayPal or by bank transfer. Prices and the way takeoffs are counted are the same either way.

PayPal

  1. Choose a plan in the app and select "Pay with PayPal". You will be taken to PayPal to pay the amount shown, in US dollars, with your PayPal balance or a card PayPal accepts.
  2. PayPal payments are received by our affiliate, Hainan Aiwu Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., which collects them on our behalf; the merchant name on your PayPal or card statement may show that company. Your agreement for the Service remains with AITECH HOUSES PTE LTD, and all after-sales matters are handled by us.
  3. The plan is activated automatically once PayPal confirms the payment, usually within seconds. If PayPal holds a payment for review, the plan is activated when PayPal releases it.
  4. Approved refunds of PayPal payments are returned to the original PayPal account. Currency conversion fees charged by PayPal or your card issuer are not refunded by us.
  5. If you open a dispute or chargeback with PayPal or your card issuer, we may suspend the plan granted by that payment while the case is open.

Bank transfer

  1. Choose a plan in the app and create a bank-transfer order. The amount (in US dollars) is fixed when the order is created.
  2. Transfer the amount to the account shown with the order. In the payment reference / memo, enter only the order number — that is how we match your payment.
  3. Bank charges (including intermediary bank fees) are paid by you; the amount we receive should cover the order amount. If it falls short, we may ask you to pay the difference before activation.
  4. After transferring, submit the payer name, amount and date on the order and, if possible, upload the bank slip (you can also do this later under "My orders").
  5. We activate the plan once the payment is confirmed, usually within 1–2 working days, and notify you in the app.
  6. An order expires if it is neither paid nor reported within 7 days of creation. Orders with submitted payment details do not expire automatically.

4. Refunds

  1. Once a plan is activated, refunds without cause are generally not offered. In special circumstances (for example a duplicate payment, or being unable to use the Service because of us), please contact support; we will review each case based on your actual usage.
  2. When refunding we may withdraw the plan or time granted by that purchase; takeoffs already used are not refunded.
  3. Nothing in these terms affects any refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

5. Price changes

We may change plan prices or contents and will publish changes on the pricing page beforehand. Purchases already paid keep the price and contents at the time of payment.

6. Other

Matters not covered here are governed by the Terms of Service; for paid matters, these terms prevail where the two differ.
